A dream and achieve your goals

I can dream to be a pilot, but the journey to get that takes time. If people ask me what my dream is, I have a lot. My dreams started when I was about six or seven. I thought of being a teacher when I was in primary two. It gave me the idea of being a teacher because i thought that teaching can give others knowledge. Another time, I want to be an athlete since I have a desire to play and bring Indonesia's name to glory. The kind of athlete here can be a soccer player, table tennis or even badminton.

My dreams can just change in terms of weeks. But there was once when I thought of be doctor. This 'dream' stays until now, this second, like when you are reading this now. I want to achieve it, and I want to make my parents and anyone who knows me to be proud of me. The reason I want to be a doctor is that I want to cure people who are sick. By being a doctor, I can cure people, but it does not mean that people's life is in my hand. It is just that I want to show my love to people who are sick and be responsible of them.

Well, those are some of my dreams that I have thought of. Next, is my goal. My goal for this year is to study well and not to be lazy. Though not to be lazy is the hardest part of my goal, being responsible is also important. I have to be responsible of tasks, though it gives pain and a lot of sweat. By the end of this academic year, I want to achieve results that do not make my parents feel bad about me and is not embarrassing. I do hope that this will work because I will be taking the iGCSE in less than two years time. I know that promising is just a matter of words, but doing it is the hardest part. I really want to achieve my goals, and I expect that my goal is like a fruitful tree.

Moving on to the important things, I realised that many things are important, but there is always one that cannot beat anything. That is
studying. Studying is like growing a tree. It starts from its roots, then it grows, and finally appear the fruits. When a person first studies, the knowledge starts like the roots. As the time he grows, the studies are getting harder because there are new challenges to him. Later, when he finishes his studies, he can work then make money. Like the tree, the fruits are ripe and are ready to be eaten.

Life is short, and without knowing the time, you grow. But like what I have said previously, promising is easy, and doing the action is the hard part. The choices that I make have to be right, because choices have consequences. If you have a bad choice, it will therefore affect your next move.
